 Eligibility Criteria – Day scholars (Civil Students) 

  • The candidate should,
    • Be a citizen of Sri Lanka.
    • Be between 16-24 years of age on the closing date of applications.
  • The candidate must have,
    • Completed GCE (A/L) or Cambridge/ Edexcel (A/L) or an equivalent foreign examination in the relevant or immediately preceding year and be qualified for university admission.
  • GCE Advanced Level (local): A minimum of three Simple Passes (S) at the GCE (A/L) examination in any stream for all degree programmes in one sitting.
  • GCE Ordinary Level : Obtained a minimum of Credit Pass (C) for English and Credit Pass (C) for Mathematics in the GCE (O/L) examination.

OR

  • IGCSE / GCSE (Cambridge) or Advanced Level (Edexcel): Obtained a minimum of three ‘D’ Passes in the Cambridge or Edexcel (A/L) or an equivalent foreign examination in any stream in one sitting.
  • Obtained a minimum of ‘C’ Pass for English Language and ‘C’ Pass for Mathematics in the GCE O/L (Cambridge or Edexcel) examination.
