A Lecture on "Asian Political Landscape" by Hon. Keheliya Rambukwella
The tenth lecture of the Short Course on “Cultural Linkages towards an Asian Ideology” was delivered by Hon. Keheliya Rambukwella on “Asian Political Landscape” on 19th January 2021 from 1500 to 1635 via Zoom.
Hon. Keheliya Rambukwella is a Member of the Parliament of Sri Lanka and the current Minister of Mass Media, Information and Postal Services, and he is also the Cabinet Spokesperson for the Government. He has held several important cabinet portfolios during his illustrious political career that expands over almost two decades.
The honourable minister followed his tertiary education at the Sri Lanka Hotel School. Subsequently he read for his postgraduate degree in International Hospitality at the University of Salzburg in Switzerland, and he was conferred with a doctorate by the International Open University of USA in 2009.
The course is organized by the Department of Social Sciences, FMSH under a research grant awarded by the Eurasia Foundation (from Asia) in Japan and is held from 27th October 2020 to 10th of February 2021 for a selected group of undergraduates representing all Faculties of KDU.
