A Lecture on “India’s Role in the Asian Ideology” by Professor Rahul Raj
The fourth lecture of the Short Course on “Cultural Linkages towards an Asian Ideology” was delivered by Professor Rahul Raj from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), India on “India’s Role in the Asian Ideology” at 18th December 2020 from 1500 to 1630 via Zoom.
Professor Rahul Raj is a lecturer at the Center for Korean Studies (CKS), School of Language, Literature and Cultural Studies in JNU. He received his Bachelor of Arts, Master of Arts and Master of Philosophy in Korean Studies from the Jawaharlal Nehru University, and completed his Ph.D. in Korean Studies at Hanyang University, Seoul, South Korea.
Professor Raj has been awarded numerous awards and scholarships by the Government of the Republic of Korea and many other prestigious organizations, and has contributed greatly to the field of Peace and Conflict Studies by conducting various research on South Korea, North Korea, Terminal High Altitude Area Defense and South Korea-US-China Dynamics etc.
The course is organised by the Department of Social Sciences of the Faculty of Management, Social Sciences and Humanities (FMSH), under a research grant awarded by the Eurasia Foundation (from Asia) in Japan and is held from 27th October 2020 to 10th of February 2021 for a selected group of undergraduates representing all Faculties at KDU.
