A Lecture on "Regional Cooperation & Logistics Outsourcing in Asia" by Dr. Wasantha Premarathne

The third lecture of the Short Course on “Cultural Linkages towards an Asian Ideology” was delivered by Dr. Wasantha Premarathne on “Regional Cooperation & Logistics Outsourcing in Asia” on 13th October 2021 from 1500 to 1635 via Zoom. 

Dr. Wasantha Premarathne is a Senior Lecturer and Head of the Department of Management and Finance at FMSH, KDU. He holds a BA (Hons) in International Economics from the Rajarata University, a MA in Economics from the University of Peradeniya, a MPhil in Economics from the University of Kelaniya and a PhD in Supply Chain Management from KDU. In addition to being an academic at KDU he also serves as a Visiting lecturer at the Ocean University, Army School of Logistics and Junior Command and Staff College of Sri Lanka and as Guest Lecturer at the University of Colombo. 

The course is organised for a second consecutive year by the Department of Social Sciences, FMSH under a grant awarded by the Eurasia Foundation (from Asia) in Japan. It is being held from October 2021 to February 2022 for a selected group of about 150 undergraduates representing all Faculties of KDU.
