A Lecture on “The Impact of Globalization on Economic Linkages towards an Asian Ideology - Special reference to Sri Lanka” by Professor MJ Kularathne.
The second lecture of the Short Course on “Cultural Linkages towards an Asian Ideology” was delivered by Professor MJ Kularathne on the “The Impact of Globalization on Economic Linkages towards an Asian Ideology – Special reference to Sri Lanka” on 11th October 2021 from 1500 to 1630 via Zoom.
Professor MG Kularatne is a senior lecturer at the Department of Economics at the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Kelaniya. He holds a BA (Honors) in Economics from the University of Peradeniya, a MSc in Socio-economic Information for Natural Resources Management from the International Institute for Aerospace Survey and Earth Sciences in the Netherlands and a PhD in Environmental Economics from Queensland University of Technology in Australia.
The course is organised for a second consecutive year by the Department of Social Sciences, FMSH under a grant awarded by the Eurasia Foundation (from Asia) in Japan. It is being held from October 2021 to February 2022 for a selected group of about 150 undergraduates representing all Faculties of KDU.
