A Lecture on “The Role of Leadership in a chosen Profession related to Asian Community” by Mr. Nanda Fernando
The tenth lecture of the Short Course on “Cultural Linkages towards an Asian Ideology” 2021/22 was delivered by Mr. Nanda Fernando on ““The Role of Leadership in a chosen Profession related to Asian Community” on 1st February 2022 from 1500 to 1635 via Zoom.
Mr. Nanda Fernando is the Managing Director of Sampath Bank PLC, and also Director of Lanka Financial Services Bureau Ltd, Governing Board Director of the Institute of Bankers of Sri Lanka and a Director of Lanka Bangla Finance Limited.
He is a Senior Fellow member of the Institute of Bankers of Sri Lanka and holds a Master of Business Administration specialized in Marketing. He is also a past Chairman of Bankers’ Technical Advisory Committee which functions under the purview of Sri Lanka Banks’ Association.
The course is organized for the second consecutive year by the Department of Social Sciences, FMSH under a research grant awarded by the Eurasia Foundation (from Asia) in Japan and is held from October 2021 to February 2022 for a selected group of about 150 undergraduates representing all Faculties of KDU.
