General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University (KDU) and JF Oberlin University of Japan, signed an MOU on 30th August 2022, for academic cooperation.
The objectives of this Memorandum of Understanding is to provide a general framework for cooperation between two Universities. Both institutions intend to participate in student exchange programmes, joint research projects, and the exchange of educational and academic materials.
The MOU was made possible as a result of the healthy collaboration maintained by Dr Hemantha Premarathna of the Faculty of Management Social sciences and humanities with the academics of Oberlin University In September, he will also lead a delegation from KDU to Oberlin University.
After signing the MOU, the Vice Chancellor, emphasized the importance of implementing the MOU to the fullest and maintaining a firm collaboration.
