KDU Karate Team participated in the Virtual KATA Championship organized by Japan Karate-do Tenshinkan Sri Lanka branch affiliated to Tenshinkan Karate-do Federation Japan and Karate-do Federation Sri Lanka. The event was held on 31st August 2021 at KDU Basketball Court with the participation of 22 players. Among the KDU Karate players, Social Sciences students performed exceptionally well to win 04 Gold Medals, 01 Silver Medal, and 03 Bronze Medals bringing a distinct honour to KDU and the Department of Social Sciences.
