The sixth lecture of the Short Course on “Cultural Linkages towards an Asian Ideology – 2022/23” was delivered by Dr. Upali Rajapaksha on “Impact of Education on Employee Productivity & Organizational Efficiency in Asia” on 13th December 2022 from 1500 to 1635 via Zoom.

Dr. Upali Rajapaksha is a senior lecturer in the Department of Management & Finance of the Faculty of Management Social Sciences & Humanities of General Sir John Kotelawala Defense University. He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Kelaniya, a MBA degree from Open University of Sri Lanka and a B.Com degree Specialized in Marketing from the University of Sri Jayawardenepura in Sri Lanka. In addition to being an academic at KDU, he also serves as a visiting lecturer at Open University of Sri Lanka, CINEC Campus, Army School of Logistics and Junior Command and Staff College of Sri Lanka.

The course is organized for the 3rd consecutive year by the Department of Social Sciences, FMSH under a research grant awarded by the Eurasia Foundation (from Asia) in Japan and will be held from October 2022 to February 2023 for a selected group of undergraduates representing all Faculties of KDU.
