A LECTURE ON "INDIA’S ROLE IN THE ASIAN COMMUNITY” BY PROFESSOR RAJ RAHUL

 The 12th lecture of the Short Course on “Cultural Linkages towards an Asian Ideology – 2022/23” was delivered by Professor Raj Rahul on “India’s Role in Asian Community on 24th January 2023 from 1500 to 1640 via Zoom.

Professor Rahul Raj is a lecturer at the Center for Korean Studies (CKS), School of Language, Literature and Cultural Studies in JNU. He received his Bachelor of Arts, Master of Arts and Master of Philosophy in Korean Studies from the Jawaharlal Nehru University, and completed his Ph.D. in Korean Studies at Hanyang University, Seoul, South Korea.  

Professor Raj has been awarded numerous awards and scholarships by the Government of the Republic of Korea and many other prestigious organizations, and has contributed greatly to the field of Peace and Conflict Studies by conducting various research on South Korea, North Korea, Terminal High Altitude Area Defense and South Korea-US-China Dynamics etc.

The course is organized for the 3rd consecutive year by the Department of Social Sciences, FMSH under a research grant awarded by the Eurasia Foundation (from Asia) in Japan and will be held from October 2022 to February 2023 for a selected group of undergraduates representing all Faculties of KDU.
