Two students of BSc in ADSC degree programme become Data Analyst Associates

Chethana Rupasinghe and Dinusha Herath of the first batch (Intake 38) of BSc in Applied Data Science Communication degree programme have become Data Analyst Associates by passing the DA 100: Analysing Data with Microsoft Power BI examination.

As a co-curricular activity, the teaching staff encourages and assists the students to take international certification examinations in order to build up their professional profile. DA 100 is a Microsoft certification examination which offers the Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate status. DA 100 tests the test takers’ ability to prepare, model, visualize and analyze the data, and deploy and maintain deliverables. The test is usually taken by experienced data analysts, business intelligence analysts and data-base administrators as a professional qualification.
