A Get-together to celebrate the Opening of the New Faculty Building of the Faculty of Management Social Sciences and Humanities (FMSH) of General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University (KDU) was held on 23rd June 2023 at the KDU Club House. The Vice Chancellor of KDU, Major General Milinda Peiris RWP RSP VSV USP ndc psc MPhil graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Besides, the Rector Metropolitan Campus KDU, Major General Lal Gunasekara RSP USP psc and the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Defence and Administration), Brigadier DCA Wickramasinghe USP USACGSC were also graced the occasion.
The event saw the participation of all academic and non-academic staff of the FMSH and other invitees. It served to enhance the cohesiveness of the faculty and to express gratitude for those who contributed to establish the new building. The evening was organized by the academic and administrative staff of the FMSH under the leadership of Dean FMSH, Mr. WAAK Amaratunga, and the event was a great success.
