The Faculty of Management, Social Sciences, and Humanities (FMSH) proudly celebrates another milestone as our talented netball team clinched the Runners-Up title at the KDU Inter-Faculty Netball Tournament 2025 Finals held on 12th March 2025, at the KDU Grounds.
Demonstrating exceptional teamwork, skill, and determination, our FMSH team fought valiantly throughout the tournament, securing their well-earned place in the finals. Their dedication and unwavering spirit were evident on the court, showcasing the true essence of sportsmanship and perseverance.
Adding to this achievement, Ms. KASK Athukorala from team FMSH was recognized as the Best Centre Court Player of the Tournament, while Ms. NYM Narathota from team FMSH was awarded Best Shooter of the Tournament, further highlighting the strength and calibre of FMSH athletes.
The awards ceremony was graced by the Chief Guest of the Final Event, the Vice Chancellor of KDU Rear Admiral HGU Dammika Kumara, VSV, USP, psc, MMaritimePol, BSc (DS), who presented the trophies and certificates to the winners.
