Prof Bimali Indrarathne conducted a workshop for the staff of the Faculty of Languages and Arts at the Universitas Negeri Surabaya (UNESA), Indonesia on 7th November 2023. The title of the workshop was Literacy Development and Learning Difficulties. In this workshop she discussed topics such as what is involved in literacy development, how learning difficulties affect literacy development and what teachers can do to assist learners with learning difficulties when they learn their first and other languages.
