The Faculty of Management, Social Sciences and Humanities at General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University held, a successful inauguration ceremony for the BSc in Management Degree Program – Batch 19 on 21st April 2024. The event was a resounding success, and officially welcome Batch 19 of the BSc in Management (Weekend Program). This program caters to working professionals seeking to elevate their qualifications in business and management while balancing work commitments.
The ceremony marked a momentous occasion for the incoming batch, signifying the commencement of their academic journey. The welcome speech was made by course coordinator Mr.Arjuna Vishwanath.
THE speeches from esteemed faculty members, including the Dean, Dr.Lakshika Liyanage and Head of the Department, Dr.Upali Rajapaksha. These speeches highlighted the program’s significance, the value of a management degree in today’s dynamic business landscape, and the exciting opportunities that await the new batch.
Also, the students from previous intakes and the newly entered intake addressed the gathering and shared their thoughts and experiences.
