On November 25, 2024, Professor Sundeep R. Muppidi from the University of Hartford’s College of Arts and Sciences, USA delivered a special guest lecture to the faculty members of the Faculty of Management, Social Sciences, and Humanities of KDU. The lecture, focused on “Building Interdisciplinary Curricula,” was aimed at exploring new frameworks for educational development that foster a more integrated approach to teaching across diverse academic disciplines. The lecture was organized by the Centre for Media Studies.
Prof. Muppidi, a highly respected academic with nearly 30 years of global experience, brought a wealth of knowledge to the session. His extensive background spans administration, research, filmmaking, and teaching at universities and institutions worldwide. With a doctorate in mass communication from Bowling Green State University, he has become a leading figure in the field of international communication and communication for social change and empowerment.
