  • Being a citizen of Sri Lanka.
  • Being not less than 18 years and not more than 22 years of age on the closing date of applications.
  • Being eligible for university entrance in all streams having fulfilled the following requirements.
    • Pass the Common General Test.
    • Having a minimum of a Credit (C) pass for English at the GCE (O/L) Examination.
  • Being unmarried
  • Satisfy the following minimum physical standards.

Eligibility Criteria for Day Scholars (BSc. in Logistics Management)

  • Being between 17-24 years of age
  • Having a credit pass or above for English Language GCE (O/L) or London O/L
  • Having a minimum of 3 simple passes(s) at the GCE (A/L) examination in Bio Science, Mathematics or Commerce stream and being qualified for university admission, or possessing an equivalent qualification in London A/L s (Cambridge or Edexcel) or any other equivalent for foreign examination.

  • Being between 17-24 years of age
  • Having a credit pass or above for English Language GCE (O/L) or London O/L
  • Having a minimum of 3 simple passes(s) at the GCE (A/L) examination in Mathematics or Bio Science stream and being qualified for university admission, or possessing an equal ant qualification in London A/L s (Cambridge or Edexcel) or any other equivalent for foreign examination.

Eligibility Criteria for Day Scholars (BSc. in Social Sciences)

  • Being between 17-24 years of age
  • Having a credit pass or above for English Language GCE (O/L) or London O/L or in any other equivalent foreign examination
  • Having a minimum of 3 simple passes(s) at the GCE (A/L) examination in any stream and being qualified for university admission, or possessing an equal ant qualification in London A/L s (Cambridge or Edexcel) or any other equivalent for foreign examination.

Eligibility Criteria for Day Scholars (Applied Data Science Communication (BSc in ADSC))

  • Local students
    G.C.E. (Advanced Level) –Three Simple Passes (S) in Mathematics, Bio Science, Technology or Commerce streams, pass in the Common General Test and at least a Credit pass for English and Mathematics in the G.C.E. (O/L) examination

Those who have taken Statistics and/or Economics as a subject/subjects in the Arts stream can also apply.

OR

Equivalent qualifications.

  • Foreign nationals
    Equivalent qualifications (E.g. Cambridge or Edexcel).

*A bridging programme will be conducted to those who do not come from an A/L mathematics background.
**There will be a selection test in English for all applicants.

Equivalent qualifications to G.C.E. (A/L) (E.g. Cambridge or Edexcel).
